Hey! Welcome to my spot on the internet. I’m an artist, designer, and maker living in the midwest with my little fam. We live on a beautiful little plot of land that backs up to a creek and has just enough woods to explore but never get lost.

When I was a kid I spent my days sketching clothes and saving quotes in a binder with really cool fonts. I made my first (geocities) website when I was in middle school (in the 90s!). My love for art, design, and technology continued to grow through getting my degree in Computer Graphics Technology and a graduate degree in Learning Design & Technology. I love to learn, and I love to create. I’ve always wanted to teach and be involved in education and look forward to the day I can incorporate that into my work.
I worked in college athletics advertising (Go Purdue!) and graphic design while in school and continued my experience designing for a small ad agency. I began taking photos for friends in 2007 and never looked back! I have ran my photography business while also running an Etsy shop and freelancing and raising my family. (see photography work on instagram at @thekimdavisphotographs). Photography will always be my first true love.
I love and live design whether it’s doing funky things with my home, arts and crafts with kids, or creating art and designs for others. I often joke that I’m still a tween at heart because I still love crafting and creating and glitter and stickers – and can regularly be found making random things and buying craft supplies and impressing my friends middle school daughters.
I’m currently lucky enough to have studio space in a historic garage in downtown Noblesville Indiana where Left Grain operates out of and I get to play, design, create and experience the joy of working in community with other artists, makers, and shop owners.
I am a designer with a wide range of skills. I appreciate simple and effective design. I have products available in my shop Left Grain as well as work in my portfolio available for licensing. Interested in working with me or licensing my work? Reach out:
